Jesus has made himself sensible to us, so that others may make sense of him through us. But the world that Jesus sends us into isn’t always an easy one. The gospel can be ridiculed. Our faith can teeter. Our hope can falter. How do we remain in what we know of Jesus? How do we continue to make sense of him to others when its easier to remain quiet? What holds us together? Jesus has not left us without a strong foundation. We have an unshakeable refuge in the midst of the city that Jesus has called us to love.
