Every day we face pressures from within the world, within the church, and within our own souls which press down against our faith. We are constantly challenged to live by other stories that compromise the message of the gospel. But amidst these pressures, how do we contend for the faith? Jude — the brother of James and half-brother of Jesus — and his community knew these pressures all too well. As we explore his letter, we will see that contending for our faith has everything to do with who our faith says we are: we are beloved and we are contended for by our Beloved.
