The prophet Malachi writes to the people of Israel as they have returned to their home from exile but they have not returned to God. They are half-hearted towards him. We can be like this too. Our Malachi series coincides with the season of Lent, a time where we recognize that there are still areas of our lives yet to be surrendered to Jesus. The book of Malachi will help us recognize these areas and will call us to return home to God.
