Prophets of Joy — St. Peter's Fireside | Vancouver, B.C.

About This Series

This 7 week series in the prophet of Isaiah begins on the second Sunday of Easter (April 23, 2017) and concludes on Pentecost Sunday (June 4, 2017).

Isaiah is the prophet of joy. In his writings we discover electrifying pictures of the joy of salvation. Isaiah invites us to taste and experience this joy. But if we do, we too will become prophets of joy. Because joy is not just for us, according to Isaiah it is for the nations, for the world, and for all of creation. Joy is by its very nature prophetic. It comes from the Spirit to us for others. Our city desperately needs joy. The joy in Isaiah can be one of our greatest witnesses to the goodness of God.
