Summer @ St. Pete’s
During the summer, we shift some of our usual rhythms. Keep on scrolling to see what the summer holds at St. Pete’s.
Summer Series | Letter’s to the Church
This summer, we'll be exploring the epistle readings from the lectionary, journeying through the books of Galatians, Hebrews, and Colossians —three letters packed with truth, challenge, and hope for the church then and now.
St. Pete’s Reads
Our Summer Groups are sort of like book clubs, and are open to anyone. Groups meet across the city bi-weekly from June to August. Even if you are late in signing up, you are more than welcome to join mid-way through.
Each of the books is focused on a different part of faith and theology and the ways we grow as disciples of Christ.
Picnics on The Steps
On Sundays, after church, we love to feast together!
Every Sunday except on long weekends, we have a picnic on the steps of Robson Square.
So pack a picnic (or grab lunch from Chipotle), and meet us at the steps or the beach.
Summer Events
We have lots of opportunities to enjoy the summer together. Keep an eye on the events page.
Join us for Symphony at Sunset, Summer Cinema, and BBQs at the Beach!
Family Services
On summer Long weekends, we pause from our usual Holy Communion service and instead celebrate a Morning Prayer & Family service. These services are a great gift for our church as they continue to instruct and lead us in the ways of the historic church, while being a slightly shorter service for the little ones (and big ones) who get restless.
