Try Alpha

Christianity isn’t quickly digested. We understand that belief isn’t always easy. It can be hard and even confusing. It is worth acknowledging and wrestling with the questions, doubts, objections and skepticism around the Christian faith. We welcome both believers and skeptics to bring their doubts and beliefs to the table.

We believe everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view. Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. Want to know more? Listen to Maggy’s experience at Alpha:

How does it work?

Alpha is ten sessions with the option of a day or weekend away in the middle. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation. At any point, if you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
